Jerry Busse began making knives full time in 1982.  While rapidly increasing demand throughout the years caused Jerry to turn to production methods, Jerry never lost his love for one-of-a-kind and custom knives.  In fact, nestled among the sprawling current facilities of Busse Knife Company sits Jerry's original one room knife shop.  This is where Jerry made his very first blades.

The Custom Shop employs a handful of highly skilled artisans and is overseen by bladesmith Garth Reckner.
